Prachaub is drinking water from the tab as she is very thirsty. The adult elephant requires at least 100 litters of water every day. The trunk of elephant can contain about 10 litters of water. Any body do you know the strongest organ of elephant is the trunk, because it 's comprised a lot of muscle. (*--*)

Welcome back Dr. Shaw and Wendy in second visit and joining course three day mahout training course. This time they extended the training course for 5 day and 4 night as they love their elephant.. This video shows that Dr. Shaw is trying to get on his elephant Prachaub....

Sridor Tai and Malani in the cold morning.. As he is very slow elephant so he is the last one to bath in this morning..

Just make fun with Sridor Yai as he is trying to chase me, because I dragged the banana tree a long street and he tried to reach it. As he is too fat to run, but he tried his best to eat it.

Today I have about ten tourists in the mahout training course and we have no enough elephants for the tourist so we call two elephants from the taxi section for our tourist. One of the elephant is Sridor Yai.. the fattest and greediest elephant in the camp, but he is loveliest one .. I love him so much as every time I saw him he always make me happy and laugh.

No birthday cake, no candle and big party for you Prathida, the only thing that I can give you is Bananas and big hug from me. All elephant fan I gave very big hug to Prathida for you in her birthday, now she is completely 15 years old. Prathida is the lastest baby elephant of greatest elephant Pang Yom. I just bought banana for her instead of cake, because I can not find it in the camp and I thought she loves and prefers banana rather than cake.

I hope this video will make you very happy to see it as we went to the forest with the mahout of Prachaub with a lot of sugarcane in this morning. When she saw us with sugarcane she looks very happy and tried to move to us, but she can not, when the mahout unlocked the chain from the tree, Prachaub was just rushing to us and tried to find sugarcane. Then when she had some sugarcane, Prachaub did not work to pull the chain for her mahout. So Nut the mahout of Prachaub had to take the sugarcane back from his elephant and then Prachaub began to work again. I hope you will love this video.

I just want to remind all you guys about birthday of Prathida on October 24 this month, now she is turning 15 years old. Young girl who was adopted and named by King Sister as one of her daughter. Prathida means " Princess" in English. Prathida deserves the name of Princess, because she very gentle and very clever elephant. John is her mahout and both of them are very good companion and friends. I think John he can read Prathida's mind. Prathida she really loves John. So before her birthday I just post this video to remind all you guy to visit this site again on 24 of October. On this video John the mahout of Prathida lets his elephant to bath by her own self in the pool.

Dear Akiko,
I think you may miss your first elephant  " Pang Yom"  at Thai Elephant Conservation Center. Now she was back to the camp about one year ago, and last time you might not see her, because you are with Prachaub. As Pang Yom was in Chiang Rai Province in the pilot project of big hotel in building big camp their, when the mission was finished. Pang Yom has to come back to her home and her friends is Thai Elephant Conservation Center. When she was their we all missed her, because Pang Yom is very very lovely elephant ever. As the most gentle, cleverest, loveliest, sweetest and greatest elephant of the camp, Pang Yom she had at least 6 baby elephants in her life. When she is at her stable, she just stand still, keep flapping her eye and move her tail, she never move when she is there. Now Pang Yom is about 62 years old and still looking like 20  years old. She still working as the taxi elephant with her friend and sometimes we use her for the training course as well. Why she still works at 60 years old? Because Pang Yom she is very healthy elephant and she could live up 80 years old as my opinion, because sometime healthy elephants could live up to 80 years old if they have very good digestion system.

 I just want to give and present this video for Akiko and all you guy to enjoy some video of this elephant in the morning as we picked the elephant in the morning the three day mahout training course a couple day ago and Pang Yom is  one of elephant in the training course.

Here is some video of the tourist who in participating the three day mahout training course at  Thai Elephant Conservation Center on 19-21 October. There is one family who leaves in Thailand, Ian, Julian, Mark, Babara and Marie.

I found very lovely video of some tourist who visited the Thai Elephant Conservation Center about 2 weeks ago as the baby elephant tried to chase the chicken or tried to find new friend to play with.

This music is no copy right protected and presented by most wonderful elephant name" Prachaub" This song is to give to Prachuab fan and other elephant lover. I do not really know what 's the name of this song, because she has been playing different every. But any way here you song..

This time I have only a few tourists joined our course, it seems the travel situation is not very good at the moment as I hope after Thailand has the National Election in the end of this year, there will be a lot of tourists will join our mahout training course. Now the weather in Thailand is getting lower and a bit chilly in the morning.. I hope to see you guy soon.

Anyway I would like to thank Simon , Julia and Mark who is from German to join our three day mahout training course during 16-18 of October..Especially thank for Claudia the sister of Mark who recommend this three day course for his brother as Claudia used to join our course before and now she is working in Bangkok.

This baby elephant was from Chiang Mai and he has no name yet, he came to the elephant hospital, because he was born and his mother does not have milk for him at the first time. But now his mother starts to have milk for him so he can survive till now. Every day our mahout has to mix the milk for him, those milks were donated by very kind Thai donors who knew the story of this baby elephant from TV. In this video, this baby elephant he enjoyed playing with mahout as his friend.

Playing around his mother today and enjoy swing his little trunk, I do not know what he is doing. I just came to visit him this mother, but it 's too late to see him get fed the milk that the mahout mixed it for his elephant. When he saw me, he is very happy to run around and try to push me, but he can not, because of the fence.

This is our special guest in the mahout training course that we ever had in the course before as he rode his elephant back into the forest and then on the way back to the camp he rode on the shoulder of his mahout. They are Australian family joined our mahout training course about 3 weeks ago. I could not post this video to the website, because the file is too big and takes too long to upload it. But now I had converted the video and then I am very happy to show all.

Here is the second video of AI as he is enjoying to eat the sticky rice fed by his mahout.. I think after one year old he will become bigger and bigger if he can eat normal foods like leaf or banana. I think he must be very handsome elephant in the future.

AI he loves to eat the sticky rice as the mahout feeds him every day. Now he starts eating some foods like sticky rices, young leaf and banana. It seems his becomes stronger and stronger every day, if he can eat  a lot of food.. Here is video of AI and his mahout with sticky rice.

Just found one program to convert big files to much smaller one.. After I have been trying to upload the video to youtube website, but it was failed, because some video is about three hundred megabytes. It took me about 2 days to upload those video. So today I come to Chiang Mai to ask my friends who is very good at surfing internet and web application and he suggested my to convert file before uploading.. Now I found that the file after converted, it can convert from 300 Mg to 40 Mg only..

So I am very happy to show many video of elephants that I took from the camp..

And here is the video of AI that I visited him a couple day ago as he is very playful and very happy with his step mother.

AI he is looking for some one to play with this evening, After taking a nab for while and grab camera to visit AI and took some photos and most took  a couple footage of AI as he is playing around his mom.. When he saw me he looks very happy and cheerful and then he started running and trying to push me..AI you are such adorable..

Actually there is one video is supposed to be uploaded by tonight, but when I went back from the forest and I found that the upload process was failed. Oh my lord Buddha!!!! (my god) this video was upload since 6:00 Am. and till 16:00 Am. was failed.. So I just pick up this photo as we went to the forest and someone shows me the butterfly, it 's huge and pretty and the elephants are the background of its photo..

Taking me about 2 days now to upload the video of the baby elephant at Thai Elephant Conservation Center while he is playing the water at the pool. Due to the very slow internet connection, so I can not upload those video in an hour as I went to Chiang Mai 2 days ago to upload all video files, but every things is failed, because of internet cafe in Chiang Mai has very slow connection too. So today I just let my computer working in my room, as I hope when I come back from the forest about 70 % of Video files is uploaded.

Now It has been taking me already 2 day to upload the video of AI was playing the small pool at where he stay with his mother. The upload is still on and I think it will be finished in next two day, then you will see very playful and cheerful baby elephant in the small pool.

Any way today I just want to keep you up to date with new picture of Areena and Kaew is taking the bath by their mahout is washing them in the pool at the bathing show at 09:45 Am. 

As the problem of the video host server website caused me some problems and errors in my site, I just decided to erase all videos in their server and then re-upload to google video website instead of . I am going to Chiang Mai some day this week to upload all missed videos, please be patients to enjoy the videos of elephant at Thai Elephant Conservation Center and new videos of elephant are also coming too.

Here is for appetizer..as my tourists " Dianne and Nola in the forest as their elephants are squirting the forest to reduce heat...

When we went to pick up the elephant in the morning with our tourists who were in the Mahout training course last week, we found that Prachaub was very muddy as she put the muds on her back, because it was very heavy rain the night before.. Prachaub she is pulling the chain for his mahout, because she is working for food. We normally did not give Prachaub food first, we gave her after she had finished working. If we give her food before working, sometimes she will not pull the chain or work any more.

Just post some photos of Northern Biker club visits the Thai Elephant Conservation Center on 6 of Ocotober, they came to the camp to raise the funds from their members and donate for the Elephants.. There are over thousand luxurious bikes at this times with many type of machines like classic bikes, BMW bikes, Vespa and expensive Harley Davidson. For myself I prefers classic bikes, because I have no money to buy one expensive.

Just pick up this photos to show all you guys who fall in love with elephant in Thailand.. This pictures I took it about a couple day ago as I went to visit the elephant hospital and I found that the baby elephant is sleeping as his mom is standing and enjoy eating her grasses. Both of this elephant were from Chiang Mai, because of when first born, the mother of this baby elephant did not has enough milk for her owned baby. So the owner of this elephants decided to bring his elephant for the care of our vet. Then I have raised the human-made milk for the new baby elephant, because it's said the new born baby elephant must drink the milk from his mom within 8-12 hours, otherwise the baby elephant would become very weak..

Now AI is about 7 months old. He is very healthy baby elephant even he did not drink the milk from his own mother. Pumpaung is real step mom of him. IA was born from artificial insemination by the vet team of the Elephant Hospital and born on 7 of March 2007. His own mother refused to look after him, finally the vet team had to find other new mom for that baby elephant. Pumpaung is greatest mother of AI, because she just left her first baby about 20 days, because her baby is big enough to be alone. I just brought this picture as I visited AI in the morning..

As they fell in love with our elephants " Prathida and Wannalee" so this time they come back for their third times at Thai Elephant Conservation Center staying for 9 day and ten night.. Both of them are from Australia and very lovely people having a lot of senses of humor. The most tourists who joins our mahout training course is about 6 times with the same elephant and program. I wish to meet all  new tourists who would like to experience and stay with our elephant at the Thai elephant Conservation Center soon.
