This morning when I went back from the forest with our tourists and elephants and going to take the elephants for their bath of the day, we met Sri dor Yai was walking with his mahout on his back. He is so cute and lovely...

Sri Dor Yai is mean Mr. Big and he deserves this name as well. He is about 3 tons, but he is not biggest elephant in the camp.

I hope you guy will come to meet him some day.

It's quite very unusual and strange that the rain starts falling as my tourists still on the elephant' back.. So every body are soaking wet, even now. Anyway it's very good for the elephants as they love cooler weather. Now every elephants are very happy, because it was very hot a couple ago..

At the moment I have 8 tourists in three day mahout training course during 28-30 of January 2008, I hope in the future there will be a lot of tourists will come and visit us like this time.

Hi every body this week there is nothing exciting to update as I took my day off for over 3 day, I just only stay at the room searching for new update in the website. So I just pick up this photo that I took it about a week ago in the forest as the sun was rising to start the new day.

Now the weather is changing so much, it's pretty hot during the day as well as cloudy.. I hope you will love this photo..

Here is the latest update on the great family in our three day mahout training course, in the pictures you can see three mahouts on one elephant as I do not have enough big elephant for them so I just put them together on our greatest elephant " Jojo" as known as Mojo.

Jojo now is 17 years old, tuskless male elephant, very calm and gentle male elephant.. Jojo has at least 3 girlfriends at the camp. Sawang is his mahout and they are very similar to each other.

Today I asked one of my boss about how come this elephant named " Jojo" and he told me that there is one celebrity visited the camp and love this elephant when he was a little and gave this elephant's name " Yoyo" and it seems very difficult to say his name so we call him " Jojo" instead. This was told by my boss.

Let me say thank you very much for Barry's family who join our wonderful mahout training course, thank for Barry, Sue, Niki, Richard and Michael.

This money when we went to pick up the elephant with six tourists in 4 day mahout training course, I just found very good spot for capturing some beautiful photos from the top of the mountain as the sun was rising.. As now it's cool season in Thailand, Six o'clock is still dark but when the sun is rising you will find many beautiful scenery.

Thank you very much for bringing your lovely family to join our mahout training course during 19-20 January 2008, Hugh, Berny, Fib, Angela and Thomas from Australian just left the camp in the afternoon. They said they have such a good time with wonderful animal like elephant.. any way Jojo is highlight of the trip here..

Thank for Bernt who has been for our three day mahout training course at Thai Elephant Conservation Center about 4 years ago, but he could not remember his elephant at all. But when he saw " Lai" the mahout of Pang Kod he just said that is the mahout of me when I was her.. So we just put him together with Pang Kod again. This time Bernt brings his Girlfriend to join our mahout training course with him " Tanya"

It seems our mahout training course becomes more popular as we have the same tourists keep coming back all most every week..

In this photo John the mahout of Prathida is taking the photo of Rebecca who is riding on Wanna.. So John is regarded as On-elephant photographer in the camp... As Prathida enjoys walking into the forest and let her mahout taking photo around.

This picture was sent by Michel via his email about to come back for longer stay with his elephant " Prachuab"  Michel was hers in November last year for three day mahout training course, but he requested to make it for six day. So we put him with our elephant named Prachaub and she never made any body disappointed. Here is the message in Michel 's email:

Thank you very much Benedeth from Australia who joined and finished our three day mahout training course during 10-12 January.. As she said that she will back again for longer stay with this elephant " Prathida" and I also wish that there will be more tourists who love animal will be back to the camp again.

Today is regarded as happy day for all elephants at Thai Elephant Conservation Center as there is one famous Insurance Company (Maung Thai Insurance Company) visit the camp and give big Donation Over one million Baht to support the work of Thai Elephant Conservation Center. As the first time the guy said that he will donate only five hundred thousand baht to support the elephant hospital, but when he was the show ground he said that he has changed his mind to donate other half of million

Especially they also treat our elephants with very big meal with a lot of Apple, Pineapple and many kinds of fruits which is elephants really love to eat it. Thank you very much for this Insurance Company name " Maung Thai Insurance Company"

Actually I love this picture as Anna and Seven is standing very closed to each other..

I just posted this picture in order to keep updated the website and for the tourists who is the real fan of this elephant " Wanalee" which she has very very beautiful eyelash..

Tiam is greatest mahout who take care of his elephant " Wanalee" since she is about 15 days old.. Now Wanalee is 10 years old.. Tiam is one of our mahout who is very good at working with the tourists in three day mahout training course.. There are so many tourists who love to come back for Wanalee and Tiam as they both are very friendly people..

In this picture Tiam is sitting on his elephant's trunk and Megi is showing lovely smiles..
