It's said that when the weather is very hot, the elephants always sweat on the skin above the toenails.. It seems it's true as we see it very often in dry season... This is one of the characteristic of healthy elephant as was told by elephant specialist and vets. I think nobody know about this and there are so many things about the elephant that we have to learn about them. I wish some day we will meet each other at Thai Elephant Conservation Center and I will tell you about this...

Just want to say thank you very much for Robin and Sanna from Sweden in our three day mahout training course and left the camp yesterday.. I was told by robin that his dad was her with her Younger sister in three day mahout training course about a couple year ago and I tried to remember, but I could not remember the face of his dad and >>>>then Robin told me that his dad is with shape head and I just curious as we have a lot of shape head tourist in the course.. and then he told me that his dad gave the portable hard disk to some one. Then I just ooooooooooooohhhh I remember his dad as he gave it to me in Chiang Mai... I just want to say Thank you very much for such a good thing. If Robin 's dad is reading this website.. ...

Robin said to me that would it be possible to have Prachuab for three day and 2 night as recommended by his dad..... and then we put Robin to Prachaub... and they have very good time here...

They are from Australia joined our three day mahout training course during 25-27 February for 3 day and 2 night at Thai Elephant Conservation Center... Arbie is only 8 years old, her elephant is only 7 years old.. In this picture I took it after we gave them the certificate of appreciation and every one lifts their hand up except Wanalee she does not have hand so she lift her trunk instead. I hope you guys will love this picture and one day we will see each other here...

Thank you very much for joining us the two day mahout training course at Thai Elephant Conservation Center, Caroline and her family from England in our three day course.. I took this picture as I was siting down and Prathida stay very closed to me..

This pictures were taken in this morning as we took the elephants for first bath at 09:45 A.m. Prathida and Prachaub are using their trunk to kiss each other. It 's might be one of the communication of elephant.. But we do not know why.. Prachaub and Prathida is very close friends.

To command the elephant to splay water is " Bong Bon" like what the mahout tell his elephant to splay on the other tourist.. Soaking wet tourist in the bathing we always see every morning.. Prathida is the best elephant for water fight as she sucks water and hold on her trunk and then just splash it to other tourist.

This week I did not have any inspiration on updating the new story as I was very tired from working a whole, and I have no chance to leave the camp for small trip in order to charge my battery... But any way I just pick this picture taken about several months ago as there was one tourists from the tourist company was big Prachaub big kiss.. I wish you will love as as this month is the month of love....

I just want to keep updating the website by posting this photo of Prachaub and Prathida were taking bathing in the morning.. This photo was taken in different time, it 's pretty it's it.

This picture was taken about half hour ago as I went to pick up the motorcycle at the elephant hospital, I met Krung Sri and her mahout were leaving the elephant hospital for morning walk.

Krung Sri she stepped on the land mine around Thai - Burmese Border in 1998 and brought to other Elephant Hospital and then moved to the Elephant Hospital in 1999. Now she is very well - treated by the vet and mahouts at Thai Elephant Conservation Center. If any body would like to see her, you can visit the Thai Elephant Conservation Center which is available at 07:00-15:00 Pm. And Krung Sri she is always there..

Picture below is Krung Sri with bandaged right front leg and now her leg is getting better....

When we walked back from the forest this morning with my 9 tourists in three day mahout training course and 2 day training course, I took this picture as Prachaub she is taking the banana stem back to the mahout house for her breakfast.. Prachaub she is trying to break it with her mouth..

This morning when we took the elephant for the second bath of the day at 09:45 A.m. I took this pictures as I am taking a pictures of the tourists in the bathing pool. I saw Prachaub and Prathida is kissing each other in the water.. Prachaub and Prathida is very closed and good friends so this is one of the elephant communication..

This picture I took it as Jojo and Prathida is drinking water at the pool and Julie is screaming as she afraid of falling off from her elephant and John the mahout of Prathida is trying to hold his tourist.. Every body was laughing at her..

Thank Sam from Australia just left the camp yesterday.. I just got his phone call and email from Sam just only one day before that Sam would like to participate in the Mahout Training Course and we have some space for him, but I would not recommend the tourist who interested to book our course to make urgent reservation as our course always full and busy..

During 1-3 of February I have 9 tourists in both three day mahout training course and 2 day and one night mahout training Course.. All of my tourists are very happy during staying in the Thai Elephant Conservation Center. In this picture, it seems very body in my group are very busy to bath their elephants in the pool on the way back to the camp around 07:30 Am. No body looked at my camera as they are watching their elephant..

Joe cried before leaving the camp today as she really loves her elephant " Somchai" Thank Jill for joining us for three day course with Jojo handsome guy./......

This morning when we went back from the forest on the way back to the camp.. There were several tourists who went to pick up the elephants together in the forest, Jojo was drinking water and the he just sprayed those tourists and every body was scared by Jojo. This was set up by us... It's really funny..

This morning Jojo took Jill our tourist in the three day mahout training course for diving of the first bathing... I think I better open the new training course at Elephant Diving Program ...Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa for the tourists who would like to be like Jill this morning.. It must be very popular program in the Thailand...
