Elephant jumbo buffet Festival at TECC.. I just leave the festival lesser than an hour ago as I was too tired to be there long and I tried to capture some photos of elephants there to let you know what are we doing at the camp..

Since we started our VIP course yesterday, I have never seen Sri Dor Yai stops eating yet. He is always mouthful and looks for food..

Today I have an opportunity to have Sri Dor Yai to work in our VIP mahout training course as since we started this program last year as he was in heat for three months and then he mostly worked in one day mahout course.. Especially I really worry that he is too slow to walk with other elephant. But I found today that he works really fast as he was trying to catch up with Look Khang our 17 years old as Sri Dor Yai he loves young elephant. Today he always tried to sniff on Look Khang so I call him " Mr Dirty old Man"
Actually I love Sri Dor Yai the way he is greedy and friendly. His son " Jojo " is same as dad and they both are very charming.. I promise if I add more photos and story about this elephant very often.

Hi every one,
I went to Chiang Mai yesterday to buy new card reader as the old one was broken, it seems this one is much better.. So I added some photos of Jojo on this site today, Then I will keep adding the photos every day when I have time..
Next month I will be working in the office so I will have more time to work on the website and my new job is about IT person, and I even have more time to take more photo of the elephant at the camp..

As the first mahout of him went back home for several day so his second mahout has to look after this elephant. Sri Dor Yai is one of elephant at the camp who inspire me like his son " Jojo" I love both of them..

Flattened ball :( This ball was given about 3 days ago by our lovely tourists to Khelang, but this ball was flattened by Khun Chai who used his incisor stabbed on the ball. So Khelang she is very sad to see it.. I wish some tourist who is coming to the camp in several day can buy on for her..

This week I nearly spend most of the time improving the website as I just change the new host server to Thailand as I found some friends could not view the website over two week that put me sleepless night. I was very stressed and saddened by that problem... So what I have to do it transfer all information on their server to the new one and especially the weblog use database which is the most difficult for me to fix some errors on the site so I have to make new installation of its software and the start the new entry.. this is second sad things... I have been improving the website and adding new photo the the website nearly every day, it 's gone in a minute.. :( I am not professional webmaster, I am in between of two things which is not very good at all..

Spend about one hour in the morning trying to capture some good shot of Khelang just right focus on the tip of the trunk, but It was failed. I will try again some day..

This is very hot today so Tiam the mahout of Wanalee just used the branch of the tree as umbrella when we walked back from the forest this afternoon.

Kom has been looking after Jumpui after his dad died by car accident over 10 years ago, he is one of the most good looking mahout and he has the most beautiful elephant at the camp..
It took me two banana hands to capture this pictures this morning..
This morning I spend about one hour to capture the trunk of Khelang, I took more than 50 shots there and found several good photo as my camera is not fast enough to track the movement of her trunk.
On the 9 of December of every year is regarded as National Children Day, There are so many parents brought their children to visit the elephants at the camp.. This year it seem we hold big celebration at the camp I had a few show of them as I still have tourists in VIP course..

Course, I remembered once that I got very high fever and could not
leave my room and bed to work in our mahout training course there are
so many tourists in the course and we did not have enough elephants for
the course, but we have one family with the kids in the course so Nau
Oon was assigned to work with the kid and I could here the sound of
Mahout of her..

Lovely friends comes along from Australia to stay with our elephants and mahouts over six days and join our mahout training course.. I will tell you more about them when I feel better as too much beer last night.
