Thursday, Feb 2, 2012 → Khun Chai is getting worse..

Now Khun Chai is getting worse since a couple day ago, it seems his legs could not carry his weight while the vets and the mahouts at the Elephant Hospital tried to help him to stand up as lying down too long, it might course bed sore on Khun Chai 's body.. I am going to update more story about this elephant later as now 3:30 Am. in the morning and I did not go to bed yet. I will have three or four hours to sleep and then I have to wake up the morning and go to the coffee shop to sell the coffee instead of my worker.. :( I have over 20 emails need replied now..

I have been away from adding new photo to the website for a little while, but it 's long for some friends who keep watching the website every day.. There is one more thing that can stimulate to add more photos on the website is your comments..

One week ago I spent most of the time to reply all emails from the tourists who want to make reservation of mahout training course and I need to follow those email.. at the first time I thought that I would have easy job and have more time to sleep in, but I found out that I was very tired and need to stay in the bed longer.. I might drink too much coffee and then become very active and fall in sleep in the evening..

So today I just want to see how big and naughty Khelang is so I went to visit her at the stable, I found she was very muddy as the mahout just put her the water around her mahout's area..

Connie has rescued Pang Somboon and Wanna several year ago and he has been visiting her elephants every year.. I could not believe how strong Connie is as she is now 85 years comes along from America alone to Thailand to visit her elephant..

I took her to visit Pang Somboon who always stay in the forest as she has poor body condition might be from hard work in the past.. But now she is very happy and lucky elephant under good care of the mahout in the forest..

I think she is too tired to wake up and play with me this evening. I brought Connie who come along from US visit Wanna her elephant that she bought it from Tak Province to visit the the baby elephants in the evening.. I think Khelang played the football too much so she is too tired today..

Very lovely People from Germany " Jens and Hanni" has been visiting and joining our mahout training course over 5 times.. Jens he just comes to stay with Jojo and mahout and Hanni come to the camp for Wanalee our sweetest elephant..

I do not know how to express my feeling about them as they are really sweet as Jens always asks his wife Hanni " What' s Jojo doing now" and every day he has to sleep with the elephant doll and he names that doll " Jojo "

Oh my Budha !! I think many of you guys who has been visit the camp already know how lovely the Thai Elephant Conservation Center is !

This video was supposed to be added immediately after the National Children Day was finished, but the it took me over six hours to upload to the Vimeo server and and I found it was failed uploading and then today I log into Vimeo account and found it 's available and I just added to the website so that It will make you smile and have a great day..
