Can I change the course on arrival?
Can I stay at the accommodation along with my friend who is joining a training course?
Yes you can just stay at the accommodation and not join the course and your friend can join the course. You do not need to pay for the room but you have to pay for the food only.
How much does the mahout training course cost?
One day course is 3,500 Baht, 5,800 Baht for two day, 8,500 Baht from three day, 12,000 for trekking and 20,000 Baht for 6 day, 35,000 Baht for ten day and 100,000 Baht for 30 day course.
How far is TECC from Chiang Mai or Bangkok?
We are about 70 Km. from Chiang Mai and about 600 Km. from Bangkok. By taxi you can hire the car with driver or you can drive your owned car and then drive along Lampang-Chiang Mai Highway, our place is just between Km. 28-29
How to get to Thai Elephant Conservation Center?
By bus you can take the bus from Chiang Mai or Lampang and tell the bus conductor that you would like to stop at Thai Elephant Conservation Center. By train you can take the night train from Bangkok and then get off at Lampang or Chiang Mai Railway Station and connect the bus to the camp.
How much does the accommodation at TECC cost?
Home stay accommodation is 500 Baht/room/three person or 1000-1500 Baht/room for two people at the Elephant Resort.
Can I stay overnight prior to start the course next day?
Yes, you can stay at the homestay or at the resort.
How many tourists can be in the mahout training course each day?
We can accept 8-10 tourists in three day and two day course and 14 tourists in one day course.
