This photo was taken this morning as Prathida and her close friend Prachaub was playing each other while we were taking the elephant for bath..

I do not know what does it mean when two elephants put their trunk to their friend's month, I think it is one of the way to communicate to each other..

I remember that I took this photo  a couple day ago while Prathida was hold here friend's tail and walked into the show ground to perform the first show.. This photo is also added on the gallery....

Ps. The tail of that elephant must be Prachaub as she always walks ahead of Prathida, but not walking from the forest, Prathida is the first of all elephants who always be the front of the herd..

I just would like to thank Dale the elephant keeper from Denver Zoo in USA in joining our three day mahout training course and he just left the camp today afternoon.. Dale is great tourist and mahout as he has been working as the elephant keeper more than twenty year. So he is very skillful tourists in our mahout training course ever.

I just put Prachaub as his elephant during staying at the camp, and he said this morning that he learned a lot of things at the camp. Especially he told me that he will be back and he want to take Prachaub back to his Zoo.

At Denver Zoo he takes care of two elephant,  and all are Asian elephant..

Today my tourists are finishing their three day mahout training course after we spent three day and two night at the camp and they really have great time with elephants.. Last night it took me a whole night to upload at least 500 photos of them on Flickr account and I was told by Thomas that he will call their parents to view his photos on net.

This photo  of  Wanalee I would like to present to Wanalee 's fan like Nicole, Susanne and especially Dianne and Nola who always shed their tears before leaving.. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

This morning we went into the forest with the tourists in three day mahout training course, actually it 's supposed to get rain or cloudy every day in the morning as the rain keeps pouring at the camp very single day since May.. So this morning the sky was very clear and it seems we went to the forest a bit late because of the sun is very shinny...

It's completely different than Summer, that all area at the camp even in Thailand are very brown during February till April, but this time our surrounding nature at the camp are very green so it makes all elephants are very happy as rain brings them plenty of foods and clean water..

I took this picture today after all elephants just finished taking bath in the afternoon, there are one family was trying to take their kid to take photo. A man is keep the tripod between his leg, it 's pretty lovely shot of today..

Photography is about what you would like to present, I have seen a lot of great photos taken by many photographers, those looked great. One is very important is their equipment, if you have good tool I believe they will get great result of images. Some one might disagree with my opinion, but I have been taking photos for about 4 years ago and I have handle a lot of camera of the tourists I found my Canon 5D is great camera is great camera as it gives me very beautiful captures.

Prachaub is only one elephant at the camp who can present real abstract painting as other she is good old to teach her how to paint realistic one.. But any way I love abstract painting, because Prachaub is my favorite elephant at the camp.. haaaaaaaaaaaa..

And yesterday her tourists in three day mahout training course, just bought this masterpiece of Prachaub as Souvenir back to USA..

I took this pictures this morning as John and Prathida was talking to each other as John and his elephant his very close relationship since Prathida was born as John used to take care of Prathida's mother... when you are at the camp you will exactly see how they behave to each other and Prathida loves the way of John treat her..

Prathida is very happy elephant at the camp she always keep flapping her hears and moving the tails which is common characteristic of healthy and happy elephant that we can notice.

Every morning when we walk into the forest to collect the elephants with the tourists, Prathida she always stand that way and wait for John to give her first banana and bring her back to the camp..

Once Prathida broke her chain on her leg and she walked back to the camp by herself, it 's really surprised that she knew the way back to the camp. I think there are so many tourists who had been to the camp know about John and Prathida..

Just posted some photo that I took it as the students from one of school from Lampang town brought their naughty students to visit the elephants. They were really scared of elephants when they first touch them. Some of students just stayed behind  and pushed their friend to the elephants..

I think the chance of many Thai people to see or touch the elephants are very minimal, as the number of them are decreasing seriously.. The first elephants I saw was only three elephant who work in Logging activities that is when I was about 7 years old now I am 30 years old. Those elephants were died and then I saw them again when I was working as the tour guide in Chiang Mai.. It 's pretty sad that there are a lot of Thais do not have a chance to see real elephants, those people see elephants on TV when they publish the news of elephants who were injured by human or elephants who were brought into big City. I wish this website can bring a lot of awareness on elephants..

Sincere thanks,
Supat and elephants..
